Member Spotlight: Paige Roth

We met Paige here at Groundwork many moons ago, when we first opened our doors, and launched an Indie GoGo campaign to raise funds for our beta space. Fast forward to today, and Paige now owns her own company, working with individuals and families as a wealth coach on both the investment and counsel side. When she’s here at Groundwork, you’ll find her fully immersed in her work, but always up for a friendly chat. Read on to learn a little more about her work, life, and how she balances it all.

What’s your profession?

I own a progressive wealth management firm in Fairhaven focusing on successful women and their families

Describe a typical work day for you.

Mornings usually start with a review of news stories, and email.  I may have a client meeting or two or maybe have a conference call.   Also coordination with my associate on any pending client issues, projects or meetings.

What’s the biggest challenge you face at your job?

Juggling multiple priorities and making sure I have time to read and do research.

Do you have a morning routine?

Exercise (running or boutique fitness) and attempting the NY Times Crossword (with coffee).

What are your favorite productivity tips or hacks?

I recently took Facebook off my phone.  And I also don’t have my work email on my phone unless I am traveling.

What do you listen to during the day?

Don’t usually have music on – when I do it is a combination of current hits, country, and some favorite music from the 80/90’s.   Depends on mood – I will listen to most anything (maybe not rap).

How do you benefit from using a coworking space?

It gives me a chance to break out of my usual routine and helps me have time to work on big projects (Well, I am hopeful on that!).

What’s in your digital toolbox?

I’m really liking my new iPad Pro with cellular – it allows me to travel more lightly and not worry about shady or slow Wi-Fi (I have to be concerned about privacy of my client information).

What is the most surprising or unusual aspect of your life?

I grew up on a small farm; I like to take road trips (I’ve been to 49 of 50 states) and listen to country music (especially when driving in the west/mid-west).

What inspires you?

My family, other successful people (particularly women).  Travel, being in nature.
